------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Mar 18 15:08:21 +0000 2008 ------- As I still don't have a better idea I will start with enabling the feature for all cases where either the language attribute of OOo or the input language from the OS belong to one of the following groups: (1) Asian script type (2) CTL script type (3) Non-Latin keyboard In these cases the OOo language attribute will be changed to the input language. If both languages are not in any of these groups but to (4) Latin keyboard the language attribute from the OS will be ignored. I know that it could be possible to get more into details in group (3) - perhaps we could also do it for e.g. Latin-3 or others - but to avoid damage for unprepared users I would like to start with undoubtful cases. I'm still looking for a good method to match ISO locales to these groups. Perhaps we already have some code lying around doing this but in the worst case I would need to write it by myself. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
