Please, could you help me getting it polished? I'm afraid there are going to be some controversial parts; in many cases, the there are hardcoded checks for 'file' protocols which I had to change to for 'SupportsActiveStreaming' property, etc. Things like the getProcessServiceFactory() could be hopefully cleaned up in a follow-up CWS (if really necessary).
