The number box on the Slide master is only a placeholder. to insert a Number on
the slide click on
- Insert / pagenumber
Now you can choose if you want to assign the slide number to the slide(s) or to
the notes / Handouts
- select Slide number
if you click on apply the slide number will be assigned to the current slide. If
you click on apply to all the numbering will be assigned to all slides.
