------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Mar 20 19:12:14 -0800 2005 ------- See Issue 45506 posted for 1.9.84. Since I corrected the replacement texts that had spaces at their end, not only does the autocorrrect work for those replacements, but now the time required for recompiling, or whatever it is called, when I enter a space after the first word of a new text document, has been reduced to about 2 seconds, still not ideal but a big improvement over the previous 20 seconds or more. After entering a new definition, the pause after clicking OK to close the dialog box is also now about 2 seconds. So these two issues seem to be related by the ending spaces in the current version. Previous versions seemed to do the replacements, unlike Issue 45506, but with the slowness problem. I don't have a machine with the older version 1.1.4 to test now: would removing the spaces by hand have the same speedup effect as in this version? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
