------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Apr 2 12:47:39 +0000 2008 ------- there's some mess with view->guides options and tools->options->draw->view "guides when moving" option. to me it seems that there are two view properties - guidelines/points (also called snap lines/points), and guides of an object that are displayed when the object is being moved. the options to control these, though, overlap in a weird fashion. first, view->guides sort of control snap/guide lines/points only, and "guides when moving", judging by the name, should control moving guidelines only. in most cases these options do not affect each other, so that probably is the intended situation. but in some cases they overlap : testcase : start a new document, make sure view->guides->display guides is disabled and "guides when moving" is enabled. disable "guides when moving" - view->guides- >display guides gets enabled. in general, "guides when moving" seems to toggle view->guides->display guides, while the opposite is not true (and the option name hints that it affects guides while moving only). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
