How you can set the ProductExtension ?
open the file office/share/registry/data/org/openoffice/Setup.xcu inside a text
editor and search for ...
<prop oor:name="ooSetupExtension">
<value></value>
</prop>
Change it to something usefull as e.g. ...
<prop oor:name="ooSetupExtension">
<value>Beta</value>
</prop>
Start the office new .. and you should see "StarOffice Beta" inside the
StartModule window ... or "StarOffice Writer Beta" for an application window.
