I could reproduce this when installing a couple of extensions at a time.
Select all extensions from
desktop/test/deployment/update/platform
in the file picker and click ok.
Then a lot of message boxes come up saying that the extension cannot be
installed. This is intended. At one point the office freezes. This needs to be
repeated a couple of times if it does not happen at the first run. Do not forget
to delete the added extensions in between.
Important: this affects the office on the gnome desktop.
To test this one needs to have the changes made in CWS jl94 issue 87684. The
deadlock may certainly occur in other scenarios, but because deadlocks are
sometimes hard to find we should "fight them where we find them" :)
