------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Apr 4 14:04:02 +0000 2008 ------- Setting a modified flag, or any flag for view data change would require a massive set of code change, and I don't think it's worth the risk. And like I said there already is a document modified status indicator in the status bar, so I would still opt for always enabling save. That behavior also happens to be how many other applications behave. The users reaction is understandable (for any behavioral changes), but I don't think it's the save icon's job to tell them whether the document is modified or not. Maybe we should make the modified status indicator in the status bar stand out more, but I don't think it's a good idea to revert this change. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
