this was fixed by the fix for i81678, so the attached patch was not used (which
is good, because it would not apply anyway due to refactorings in the xmlfix2
cws).
so, instead of a RuntimeException you now get a shiny new XPathException.
i also fixed i87252 today, for which it was necessary to insert an explicit
check for the condition that caused this issue, because otherwise libxml would
print an error message on stderr, and there seems to be no way to prevent it
from doing so.
