Thus, if you want to draw 2 rectangles, you need to: - select the rectangle tool - draw the first rectangle - select again the rectangle tool - draw the second rectangle that's annoying. What is used in many graphical applications (inkscape, illustrator...) is that you keep the tool selected as long as you don't select another tool or press the escape key.
