However, I just found this page on the Pegasus website: http://pmail.com/sundry/pmlinux.htm Pegasus is a respected proprietary email client for MS Windows. The author (one-man show) is considering moving the application to open source, but he has two problems: 1) No sponsor (money || dev time) 2) He needs to replace the core editing component, which is currently third-party proprietary code. I think that OpenOffice.org can solve both these problems. In turn, OOo will get a respected, unique, and powerful email client that is currently not available to the user base that OOo is targeted at.
