------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Apr 17 12:37:26 +0000 2008 ------- when opening an office document, e.g. found via google on the web. Then openoffice downloads it, and opens the temporary document it stores in /tmp/, Then I start editing the document, and then only use the save button, instead of using "save as", to not loose my changes. When I am ready with editing, I save the document a last time, and then close openoffice. Openoffice is so friendly to detect, that it downloaded the file and asks whether to uplaod the file to the original http location. This will usually not work, and then end in an openoffice error. e.g. An unexpected error (501) occurred while attempting to upload followed by the URL. Unfortunately, OpenOffice cleans up the temporary files in /tmp/ and the changes to the document done are gone. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
