Please try: 1. If you use Ubuntu OOo version, install a originall and current OOo version from: http://download.openoffice.org/680/?intcmp=1235 2. "Edit - Paste Special" and choose another format than the default format which fails. We'll have to investigate why the default format fails between scite and OOo... PS: to be clear, you use the term "Auto-text" for "default clipboard format" in your description.
