2008 -------
OpenOffice.org loads the JavaVM (libjvm.so) directly into the process. So for a
32bit Office one needs to have an 32bit JRE and for a 64bit Office a 64bit JRE,
just as mentioned above. That's really not an issue but a technical necessity.

The lookup of the JVM is done in module jvmfwk, or more precise in
jvmfwk/plugins/sunmajor.
