------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 22 13:53:42 +0000 2008 ------- In my XML form text field I have a xml data binding with type string and max length set. During form filling this max length is not enforced. The text field gets a red marking and moving the mouse over this field informs me about the max length but it is not prevented to enter more than 10 characters. In a normal writer documents text fields the max length can be set in the controls properties and this enforced during form filling using a message box and trimming off excessive characters. I'd like this enforcement (maybe optional) aswell in xml forms. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
