BidiPortion::CalcSpacing works on the stored number of blanks / kashidas, which is set before we drop kashida positions. The nSpaceAdd parameter, on the other hand, is the updated value after kashida positions are dropped. TxtPortion::CalcSpacing recalculates its number of blanks on the fly, so the dropped kashida positions are taken into account.
