------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 2 11:24:50 +0000 2008 ------- If you want to add some kind of headline to only the first page of the endnotes, you need to insert a section and collect all endnotes at the end of this section to do this. Because of issue 88940, you are unable to add a headline using page headings to only the first page. So, when endnotes are collected at the end of a section and you insert a page-break before the notes AND if your endnotes are automatically devided in at least two pages, Writer aligns all endnotes at the bottom of each page (like it is done with footnotes). Only the last page is processed correctly. To verify this you need to set "Do not split paragraph" in the text flow section of the endnote's paragraph style. Example: 1. Create a new document 2. Insert a new section and make sure, that endnotes are collected at its end 3. Put some text into this section and place some endnotes within it 4. Move behind the last paragraph within the section and create a new page-break in order to move the endnotes to the next page 5. Place some kind of headline above the endnotes 6. Set the page style of this page to "Endnote" 7. Add some text to each endnote and make sure, that at least one page-break is automatically inserted within the notes 8. Edit the paragraph style "Endnote" and set the "Do not split paragraph"-property in the Text Flow section As you can see, Writer creates some space between the headline from step 5 and the first endnote instead of creating the space after the last endnote on each page. This is done for every endnote page but the last one. This defect is reproducable and was already discussed here (in german): http://de.openoffice.info/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=17410 This has also been prooved on Windows XP with OOo 2.3.1. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
