------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri May 2 15:38:25 +0000 2008 ------- This is on OpenOffice.org 2.4, the repository version for Ubuntu 8.04. I have no idea _what_ is causing this error, so I'll simply give a step-by-step description on how to reliably crash Writer. 1. Start OpenOffice.org Writer 2. Open a new document. 3. Go to the webpage http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/?p=550 4. Select all the comments on that webpage. (Or just select everything with Ctrl+A.) 5. Copy-paste them into your new Writer document. 6. Wait. Writer crashes within seconds. (I have tried the same thing with either the first half or the second half of the comments on that page, and neither crashes Writer. So it _seems_ to have something to do with the amount that is pasted. Also, the browser is Firefox 3 beta 5, if that turns out to be relevant.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
