------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 7 10:23:56 +0000 2008 ------- As bmarcelly explained, changing the user-defined function (macro) to use Double instead of Currency does indeed fix the formatting issue. However, I could not find anything in Help or on the documentation.openoffice.org web site that says that Calc can use only Double or String. (The http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/BASIC_Guide/Numbers page discusses the Currency type.) As a newbie to OpenOffice, I would expect to see an error message if Currency cannot be used. It's odd because Calc does compute the correct numeric value if the Currency type is used, it's just not formatted in the cell. I guess I don't know whether Calc is working as designed or if there is an issue with formatting numbers of type Currency. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
