As well as printing to a file / exporting to a PDF... that's really annoying. I am using Windows XP and Kubuntu Gutsy Gibbon (7.10). (The problem exists on both systems.) Fortunately, there is a workaround (linux only) for those, who really need to get there handouts printed: http://www.oooforum.org/forum/viewtopic.phtml?p=110532#110532 Indeed, this workaround produces high-quality handouts. But it is quite complicated...
