------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat May 10 22:19:50 +0000 2008 ------- In most applications in the OpenOffice suite 3.0 Beta, the key combination of command + space is designed as the hot-key to input a non-breaking space to current application. For a western user it may be OK, but it makes a asian user feel it's hard to use OO.o. Asian users such as Chinese, Korean and Japanese users need to use command + space as a global hot- key to toggle Input Methods and roman keyboard layouts, if the hot-key is "hijacked" by the application, they are forced to use their mouses to click on the input menu to toggle the Input Methods to input their own native languages, but can not use their keyboards to do it. And they need to toggle Input Methods and roman keyboard layouts very often, because it not rare to see that they need to work on a document in both their native languages and western languages such as English. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
