This plugin to me should be included in the main build. I'm very nervous about adding and using extensions in general. Once you deploy something to users, you cannot ever roll it back or people get upset. The problem with this being extension is that if a newer version of OOo comes out and fails to be tested or fails in the future, I'm going to have some angry users. Once deployed it will become a part of normal workflow for them.
