------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 12 22:55:10 +0000 2008 ------- @foobard: that does NOT depend. Of course, a lot of companies use Microsoft as reference. And only because of this *fact* we should align on MS-Word. But if MS-Word (not tested yet and I don't use it) exculdes footnotes because... it just doesn't do it, I don't care! I translated footnotes too, I have to be payed for this! My assumption: - Footnote count may not make sense for thesis and college work where they are explicitly excluded from the word count by the teaching staff. - Footnote count makes sense when I have to bill a company for a document I have translated and that contains footnotes. That's why: Please show both counts - with and without footnotes. Idea: would it make sense to add an option to the character/paragraph styles: "[X] include in word count" - Default: checked ? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
