Hi Björn,
The new extension mechanism of OOo 3 has solved the compatibility problems of
the default spell checkers of the old and the new OpenOffice.org versions. See
"dependencies" entity of the description.xml of the extensions.
So adding new engines and handling its dictionaries is an enhancement, not a
defect.
