------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 13 13:48:21 +0000 2008 ------- I received a document in MSWord (2003) format with lots of notes. I edited this document and saved it again in word. The next time I opened it, the notes were still there but there was no text. >From the original document (re-downloaded from email attachment) I opened the document, edited, and saved it (just CTRL-S) -- no changes to notes. Closed it and opened and notes were there. Next I opened that same document and saved as *.odt file. The note text had disappeared. The notes themselves were present. I tried creating a new document and inserting a note and saving as word, and the text did not disappear, so it may be this document. I will attach the original document, if I can figure out how to do that. (Sorry if it bores you!) I am not sure if it is this document, but if so there may be others like it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
