For one, I have not changed anything yet (this issue, thought STARTED, has not been worked on yet). For another, I have no Mac PowerPC hardware to test anything on. And for yet another, at least for quite some time now javaldx is not called in any Mac OOo anyway, as it is called from the soffice wrapper shell script that is not normally run on Mac (where opening the application calls directly the soffice.bin)---so this issue is more or less about removing something that is not used at all. I assume that it is by accident that expanding DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH with the output of javaldx makes Java work in Mac PowerPC OOo, and that the real problem is something else.
