------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed May 14 12:37:41 +0000 2008 ------- In OOo 3.0 beta (downloaded yesterday) for Windows 1 Dictionary Wizard does not include Tagalog (Philippines). Reading elsewhere on the site I gather that the Wizard is going to be overhauled, possibly in time for 3.1 and I hope that this can be addressed as part of that work. 2 In Tools>Options>Language Settings it is still not possible to set Tagalog as the default language for a document or spell check. As mentioned earlier on this issue the bodge ------- Additional comments from gvsa123 Sun Sep 16 19:30:06 +0000 2007 ------- i'm currently using the tagalog dic. but you have to reference it with a different language that is listed. so your dictionary.lst should look something like: DICT en GB tl_PH this assigns the english UK to use the tl_PH.dic can produce a work around to set the default spell check as Tagalog although it appears as (say) English (UK). Unfortunately THES tl PH th_pl_PL_v2 would attempt to assign a Polish (I think) Thesaurus and hence might not be very helpful. Still, the fact that DICT tl PH tl_PH works with F7 is a step in the right direction. 3 It remains a fact that the majority of computer users either do not have the knowledge or skills to find or implement what has been discussed here. Hence a Tagalog should be included in the languages installable via Dictionary Wizard. (1 above) b Tagalog should be able to be set as the default document setting (2 above) Sadly I do not have the skills to implement my suggestions. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
