I create a standard filter on a table and set the 'contains' condition and a value of e.g. 'blue'. Then I save and close the document. After that I open the document again. Now the problem is, that the Standard Filter dialog doesn't show the 'contains' condition, but the '=' condition and a value of '- empty -'. Can you please debug and fix this problem. And please test your patches before attaching them for review. For me it's always very time consuming to apply the patch and build the corresponding projects.
