The problem is with the Cmd combinations, that are NOT in the menu (like e.g.
Cmd-I to switch to itali I think). These are not dispatched to the window
anymore but swallowed (with display beep to add insult to injury) by the menu.
The real problem is a conflict in our menu shortcuts. Duplicate to issue 88582.
