It think this might need more work; I get an assertion "Error:
OutputDevice::~OutputDevice(): OutputDevice::Push() calls != OutputDevice::Pop()
calls

2 sidenotes:
- It think my very simple sample document probably doesn't touch the cases you
wanted to improve; could you please attach a sample document that shows the
improvement ?
- I'd like to make GetPreparedMetafile (aside from the printoptions querying)
available on OutputDevice as perhaps "RemoveTransparencies" since there is issue
88802 which needs the same handling for PDF export. I'd like to incorporate any
changes you make before that move, else the patch won't apply. Unless you say I
should make that move first, whichever suits you better.
