------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun May 18 05:46:45 +0000 2008 ------- I'm having what's probably a duplicate of this, only I disagree with the way the issue has been assigned to a sub-component. I think it's actually between reading the ppt file and displaying the internal representation. I have: - OpenOffice 2.4.0 - MacOs 10.5.2 on a MacBook 4.1 - no obvious shortage of memory or disk space - a presentation that has always been in PowerPoint - a slide where, in Normal view, I can see the contents of the slide - in notes view, I see the notes, but only a box around where the contents should be I have edited the master view of the notes page. I have done other poorly characterised edits of the same file. My example is slide 2 of a zipped presentation which I will attach. I know from experience of this fault in OpenOffice 2.3 that at least one version of M$ powerpoint (sorry, I don't know which one) will display and print the slide the same way, but if you export in Word format, the graphics and notes are both in the Word document. This is may reason for disagreeing with the classification to a subcomponent. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
