------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon May 19 13:03:00 +0000 2008 ------- Hello to the dev team! OpenOffice has improved a lot, but there are some important features I miss in this program, e.g. advanced footer formatting features (and bugs, which I wouldn't miss at all). E.g. it's not possible to have the 3 different boxes, one can create in a footer, differently aligned (right/middle/left-aligned) - there are no buttons to choose this, like it's possible on the main sheet. It would be really nice to have a table-feature-button in the footer- (and header-) menu, so as to be able to choose from how much columns one needs. E.g., there's often the need to have more than 3 (for address, bank account- and other info), so it's not possible to do that in Writer's current state. Also, I've encountered issues, where the text entered in all 3 footer-boxes (left/middle/right) would start at a different line, each being vertically offset, without having any spaces or empty lines in front of it. The most troublesome thing is, that the footer will expand to greater heights, using up much more (empty) space of the sheet / will drop at higher sheet position, when having a page with rather little textual content in the upper area. The footer's position and size obviously cannot be manipulated in any way, rendering the resulting page unusable for printout. Encountered on 2 different Systems (Xubuntu 7.04 and 8.04), but afaik, Windows-version is affected, too.
