This patch is in ooo-build since mid december of 2007 :

No problem was reported from our clients or from Novell users. Moreover, your
belief is wrong, for a case like "<glossary>kernel</glossary>", it's "kernel"
which is appended to the content of the document, and not the <glossary> tags.
And this patch also treats case like
"<glossay><content>kernel</content></glossary>"

Without my patch, half of the content of the table is missed.
Finally, you can verify that the content in the clipboard is correct, with
tools like xsel or xclipboard.
My answer is late since I wasn't in the cc of this issue. Sgauti has retested
on the last official beta build, and the problem is still there.
Would you please reconsider it and test this small patch ?
