The problem was that in this situation:
- a text is written in a font that supports all the required characters
- on the printer (spadmin) "font replacement" maps e.g. Thorndale to the printer
builtin Times font
- or the PDF export which maps e.g. Times New Roman to the PDF builtin Times
font
- and the mapped printer/PDF builtin fonts don't support some characters of the
text
=> the unsupported characters of the builtin font were replaced by the
characters a "glyph fallback" font
Since the glyph fallback font only coincidentally locks like the original font
there is a problem. The user had selected a printable font for the text that had
all characters, but some characters are printed in another font.
The fix for this problem is to use the originally selected font as the first
glyph fallback font.
Testing instructions:
- choose a builtin font (e.g. Times)
- chose a printable font (e.g. Thorndale)
- enable font replacement in spadmin from the printable font to the builtin font
- write a text which contains some letters not contained in the builtin font but
in the printable font
- print the text
- export the text to PDF
=> chars not supported by the builtin font get replaced from the printable font
