I checked with "2.4.0 Multilingual version German UI WIN XP:
[680m12(Build9286)]" and can no longer confirm the reported effect. Same
pleasant result with "3.0.0 Beta Multilingual version English UI WIN XP: [300m2
(Build9301)]".
I think it was with 2.2 where that "dramatic pause" disappeared.
Anyone who can confirm that?
