Attempted several variations in the following sequence: - Launch Impress - Click down arrow next to new file icon in Impress, select Text Document (Writer opened with new blank document) - With Writer still open, clicked the "New Writer Document" icon in Impress (Second instance of Writer opened with new blank document) - Without closing any windows, clicked "New Writer Document" icon in 2nd instance of Writer (Third instance of Writer opened with new blank document) - Closed all 3 instances of Writer - In Impress used menu (File->New->Text Document) Writer opened with new blank document No crashes or errors observed.
