As discussed, this issue is not fixable. Even if I provide patches
for all previous office versions, there remains the problem that
users don't apply those patches. And there are other applications,
e.g. KOffice etc.
If a user opens the shared document with an older version, modifies
and saves the document, then the shared status is lost.
Other users, which have opened the document before, get at least
a warning when saving the document. Then they have the possibility
to save their work to a different file.
