Works for me in OpenOffice.org 2.4.0 Windows XP Portable and Microsoft Word
2003.
I see you are using Linux. Are you using the Linux provided by your
distribution? Which distribution? Linux distributions modify OOo, so you
should try the unmodified version from www.openoffice.org
Also, try OOo 2.4.0. Then, report whether that fixes it. This ticket may be
closed WORKSFORME or INVALID
