------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 23 08:25:52 -0800 2005 ------- Hi, I found a reproducable trace of a bug I have expirienced a couple of times before. Here is how to do it: - create a new document - draw a couple of shapes (I drew a rectangle, an ellips, a line, and added a text box with some text) - select all the shapes just drawn - in the context menu (right click or keyboard key) select Caption - add some caption text and press enter expected result: - a caption is added to the selection (or perhaps even to all separate elements in the selection) and no crash occurs. faulty result: - writer starts using up most CPU power and the disk acces is very high as well - after some time OOo crashes and the error report pops up - upon reopening OOo the app and agreeing to restore the document OOo has added the caption to each of the elements of the selection. I tested this on me win2000 machine and it "works" every time. I do not have any other os-ses installed to test it. Will try later on to test it at University on solaris/SPARC to rule out a win only error (or even an ix86 error). Hope this will help to solve this issue.
