------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Jun 16 00:51:30 +0000 2008 ------- The installation program needs a decision tree for determining the requirement to check for available disk space. In my particular case the program checked 3 times (consuming almost 4 minutes) for disk space when I had over 30GB available. It appears that the first check was to determine whether there was space to uncompress the installations files. The second appears to check for space to further uncompress the core installation files and the third appears to check after the selection of components to be installed. It would seem to me that if the first test determines that there is enough space to do the complete and maximum installation (plus a safety margin), the first test should set a flag and the subsequent tests check the flag first. If the flag is set then the space check is skipped. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
