2008 -------
Just installed OpenOffice 2.4.1 (from the RPMs included in the file
OOo_2.4.1_LinuxIntel_install_wJRE_en-US.tar.gz which I downloaded from
Openoffice.org) on my RHEL4 linux desktop; when I run any of the OpenOffice
binaries (scalc, swriter, etc) I am receiving the exact same error as the
original poster, and an additional one when I click "Ok" on the first error
window;
First error window:
-------------------
"Error loading BASIC of document
file:///usr/lib/ooo-1.1/share/basic/WebWizard/script.xlb/:
General Error.
General input/output error."
2nd error window:
-----------------
"Error loading BASIC of document
file:///usr/lib/ooo-1.1/share/basic/WebWizard/dialog.xlb/:
General Error.
General input/output error."
After I click OK on both, OpenOffice starts OK.
What can I do to fix (or work around) this issue?
