I'm not getting any distortion with scrolling, but the update rate is tangibly
slow. I think that would be
aggravated with complex graphics. You get noticeable stepping (the redraw steps
are distinct, they don't
flow into each other as they should) even with templates like pumpkin.ots .
This slow redraw is a disadvantage, especially on high-end and new machines,
where users will be used
to graphics updating seamlessly.
