It's extremely difficult to edit documents on a laptop (especially smaller 
laptops like the eeePC) because every time your hand comes in contact with the 
touchpad, the cursor jumps to another position in the 
document.

While the user is editing, the touchpad should ignore sporadic input. This type 
of system has been successfully implemented in other major word processors 
(such as Microsoft Word) and there are no 
cases of this inhibiting use as far as I can tell. 

Although this solution could be considered a feature, I'm submitting it as a 
defect because it prevents 
myself and a large number of people in my organization from switching to open 
office on our mobile 
computers.
