I've Openoffce org 1.9.87 installed on a Suse 9.3beta3 Linux i586 system.
Presenter crashes on almost all of the tested powerpoint presentations when I
start presenter normally. As a workaround, I can just start openoffice, then
select the file and click on "read only" before loading. In that case, the
files open fine.
Unfortunately, I can't attach the file to the bug as it is copyrighted by
someone else, but I can provide the file to whoever wants to work on the bug
if that person just assures me that (s)he will use this file for bug
finding/fixing purposes only.
The files opened fine in ooo 1.x.x (lots of versions) and the workaround with
"read only" does not work *reliably* with the ooo version from Suse 9.3beta3.
