Another testing hint: the problem should be seen more easily when the screen
resolution gets changed (AFAIK: ControlCenter->Display->Advanced->More->DPI)
AFAIK it is often set to 96dpi. Setting to something odd might help.
Adding AW to CC, since the problem described by hennerdrewes looks like his
turf.
@aw: is it possible that the drawing shape in writer formats its text for a
different
resolution than the screen resolution?
