I installed the native OOo build 2.4.1 (only the official release, no RCs or
nightly builds or something). As some people stated in other news groups, the
issue doesn't occur in the release(s) distributed by openSUSE. However, at this
time (when I asked them), I did not yet know, that the problem was caused due to
different color depths, so their statement may be only partially correct,
because I never asked them about their used color depth. Here, on my machine, I
still can always reproduce the issue as stated (with 16-bit color depth); using
24-bit color depth, all is works fine.

I did this more than once. However, I couldn't received either a send
confirmation or any ID, since I didn't mark the related checkbox and didn't
provide my email address to let Sun contact me.
