------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Jul 10 20:24:37 +0000 2008 ------- In working with version 2.4, I was able to modify the setup.xcu file and change the default file types OO saves in from ODF to Office 2003 files. This does not work in OO3.0 on XP on or Vista. The file itself shows the changes correctly but the UI - Tools - OPtions - load/save - General - Always Save As... It almost appears that there is a cached version of the setup.xcu where the program is looking for this infomration.
