------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Mar 26 15:40:41 -0800 2005 ------- Ok, here's the skinny. First of all it some how fixed it's self. Well, not exactly but I cannot reproduce the bug. I loaded OOo-1.9.87. I was able to reproduce the bug (2nd page printing with a top margin about 1 inch too big). I used the same document and printed from OOo-1.1.3 and the top margin was perfect. So I tried some other tests. 1) printed to a file -- Passed 2) exported to a pdf -- Passed 3) printed to a taller page size (A4) -- Passed -- This one is strange because my printer was setup to print letter size paper, but the top margin was fine. 4) Installed a second printer, Printed the same document - Passed -- Ok now I'm begginning to wonder what's up. I found that I have two ppd files for my Photosmart printer. I unzipped them and copied one of them to /etc/cups/ppd/. Then I restarted cups and tried printing again. This time it worked. So I tried the other ppd. Same results, it worked. The only thing I am completly sure about is that at first using OOo-1.1.3 worked while OOo-1.9.xx did not. I am not sure of the significance of any of this but I am reporting this anyway. I believe that the orginal ppd file is the one that came with my distro, SuSE 9.2, while the other two ppd files were ones that came with the HP Manager software I downloaded from sourceforge. It appears that the SuSE ppd file is different and somehow only works with OOo-1.1.x Sorry for my rambling but I hope this helps someone. In the mean time I can say the bug is not reproducable. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
