Using OpenOffice.org 2.4.1 X11 and Xquartz 2.2.3 from
http://xquartz.macosforge.org/trac/wiki I can copy and paste between Mac OS X
and X11 OpenOffice.org and vice versa between X11 OOo and a native OS X
Application. It also works with 2.4.0.
Therefore closing this issue as Worksforme.
If the issue still occurs further investigations from other Mac developers may
be done.
I also suggest that the report does a backup of ~/Application
Support/OpenOffice.org2 and OpenOffice.org so that older user settings won't
interfere with the new 2.4.1
