fs->cd: can reproduce the problem with toolbar controls:
When you remove *any* item from a toolbar which has an associated window, then
the window is actually *not* removed from the UI, but painted on top of the
remaining toolbar items.
This happens with any toolbar in any application - for instance, try the "Apply
Style" item in Writer's "Formatting" toolbar.
